Reliance Jio is offering its prepaid customers additional benefits in annual packages. As Independence Day approaches, the company has launched a limited-time recharge offer.
According to the updated information about Jio’s reload page (opens in new tab), prepaid customers can enjoy an annual validity package of Rs 2,999. The package offers a total data usage of 912.5GB, which is provided as a daily quota of 2.5GB.
By choosing this top-up plan, you also get discount coupons for Ajio, Netmeds and Ixigo worth Rs 750. In addition, Reliance Jio also offers 75GB of extra data worth Rs 750. This can be redeemed in the form of data coupons. Overall, the company offers benefits worth Rs 3,000 for the annual package.

Many of the other common top-up package benefits will still be available. With the annual package, you will also get a one-year subscription to Disney Plus Hostar Mobile, which saves you Rs 499. Like many of their other top-up packages, JioTV, JioCinema, JioSecurity and JioCloud will also be accessible.
A year of 4G services?
When we look at the offer that Reliance Jio is offering, it looks like a 100% refund. To celebrate Independence Day or any of the other festivals that are approaching, you might have plans to get your hands on the latest outfits. Spending some time away on a short trip might also be in the plans (if there is a long weekend again). You can also save on health and wellness products. Not to mention you won’t have to worry about data when traveling or spending time with friends and family for an entire year.
But while 5G is coming to the country soon, is it worth staying on 4G for an entire year? Absolutely.
Of the top 4 telecom companies competing for 5G spectrum this year, Reliance Jio and Airtel are ahead in the race. Both companies announced that the services will begin rolling out in major metropolitan cities starting this month. However, it will take a year or two for services to be available nationwide.
And while it’s great to be an early adopter of the technology, it would be better to wait. The technology is here to stay and you won’t miss a thing even after a year.
